A note from the founder

Hi, I'm Katie.

As someone who has spent years creating, teaching, and telling stories through design, I've always believed that the smallest details often hold the biggest memories. Growing up in Southern Illinois—and now raising my own family here—I know how much hometown traditions mean. They're the Friday night football games, the baseball tournaments, the school songs, the familiar faces in the stands, and the stories that get passed down year after year.

Hometown Heritage began because I wanted to create apparel that felt different. Not just another spirit shirt, but something you'd be proud to wear years from now. Every design is inspired by real traditions and crafted with the hope that it becomes part of someone else's story, too.
